LAST CORNER, LAST LAP - EVENNETT TAKES STUNNING VICTORY AT HIGHLANDS

Australian Lachlan Evennett has pulled off a remarkable last corner, last lap pass to take victory in the GT4 Endurance race, on Day 3 of Round 3, of the Summerset GTNZ Championship, as part of the New Zealand Grand Prix weekend, at Highlands Motorsport Park, in New Zealand.

Piloting the new Camm Quarries and Concrete Mike Carney Toyota BEL Energy Supra GT4 EVO2 car with Glen Chappel, the 17 year old Queenslander fought all race with AMG driver Matt Day before a masterstroke final lunge saw him get past and take the win.

Earlier in the day, Evennett had also claimed second spot in Race 2.
